Whenever we feel there is a threat to our existence, suddenly our ego rises. In society, we have a social existence, and when we feel it is in danger, our ego rises. We consider love as the backbone of life if it is in danger, our ego rises. Property and success give us the realization that we are alive, if we feel it is in danger, our ego rises. Ego is that enemy that makes you all alone in the world, it gives you happiness but in reality, it makes your life sad and depressing. But if you think deeply you'll be able to know what really an ego is. Just the desire to live is ego. In fact, the desire to win is not ego but the desire to live is. If we can realize this fact then it is not that difficult to curb the ego and at last to free ourselves from it is not impossible.
But if we see the reason why our ego is rising then what should we do. If you ever feel this way then just stop yourself for a moment and think is it really your last moment, is it really the end of the world or is your existence really in danger. If No, then there is no place for ego. And the amazing fact is that existence is really never in danger. Ego is never required as:
